The BFC returns for yet another tournament, this time with the 9th iteration in a festive package. Big Funky would look like a big contender for the tournament victory, after having knocked the Bing, Bing & Wahoo out of Nintendont in a stunning 4 - 1 victory in the quarter finals. In the end, it wasn’t enough once the previous cup winners, Alpha Space Bros , showed up to create a goal rich atmosphere in a close 4 - 3 match, and Alpha Space Bros would then await who they’d meet in the BFC final. In the second semi final, Disney would continue their non-scoring ways in an unconvincing 0 - 0 fashion against Vidya , only just about edging them out in the penalty shoot-outs. The final would therefore be Alpha Space Bros vs Disney, where Disney managed to score an astunning 2 entire goals, beating Alpha Space Bros – and their own record this BFC – by 1 whole goal. This also meant that Disney had managed to win a BFC with only 4 goals scored in total (outside of penalties).
